Zach Smith MOTZach Smith MOT graduated from Eastern Michigan University with his Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) degree in 2009. His interests include brain injury, visual perceptual deficits, auditory processing problems, vestibular and balance deficits as well as addressing the cognitive deficits impacting a person’s activities of daily living. Zach believes that OT services should be fun, effective and meaningful to the individual. He can perform home evaluations to assess a person’s safety, their need for adaptive equipment and determine if other modifications to the home are needed. He is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) and holds certification in Vestibular Assessment and Management from the American Institute of Balance. He is also a certified Integrated Listening Systems (iLs) provider and Interactive Metronome provider. He is currently working through a Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) training program.
